We had a wonderful time there last night with the Latin Band, "The Latin Caravan." The music was jumping, a nice dance floor... we were among the last to leave. A great experience.
MOJITOS ! Perfect. Exactly like the many we've enjoyed in Havana. If you don't come here for any other reason, you must come here to experience their Traditional Mojitos. Afterwards, try some of their specialty Mojitos.
Admittedly, we aren't big fans of Cuba's mostly fried foods, so we tried the ceveche appetizer. Compared to many orhers we've had, this one was primarily tasting of lime (which cures the fish), leaving the seafood and tomato flavors far behind.
All the staff that we'd met were fantastic, fun and very attentive. -

We're from Miami- so the bar is set high. We had a really long wait before the waitress had any interest in taking our order. Once she showed up, service was fine. I d not recommend the plantain chips. They were freshly prepped but he oil was not hot enough so they were soggy. The Vaca Frita, tostones, and yuca were good- but the food did not come out hit enough. Overall- it was ok.
I wrote the past review while visiting the restaurant for the third time on Fathers Day. We left after 30 minutes. We had the same problem as our second visit - ignored by the waiter for 10 minutes. We then ordered drinks and appetizers and waited 20 minutes before asking for the manager. What a waste of time. He was completely unapologetic. We called Bone Fish Grill and left. -

I went on a date with my husband here for the first time a few weeks ago. Someone had recommended it to us and raved about the food so we gave it a shot.
First impression of the decor and atmosphere was great. I think the pictures I have do it justice.
The food was absolutely delish. I have NEVER had a burger in my life that tasted that flavorful and juicy. It was layered with a fried egg, a real slice of ham, lettuce, tomato, cheese... Fries in the side were crispy and fresh. My husband stepped out of the box and got some kind of "fried chicken" plate. Lol Well he didn't really step out of the box, but his tasted so good and crispy as well. (Probably should have taken note of the names of these menu items.). Overall, absolutely no complaints about the food. Even the plantains we had never eaten before were tasty.
I should probably give them five stars just because of the food, but I had to take one away for the buff bar-tender that gave me a really weird and uncomfortable look when I spoke. I think he preferred to take our order from my husband because I'm a woman maybe. And trust me, my husband felt the vibe too, but he played along and ordered things for me after I whispered requests in his ear. . It was a little uncomfortable dealing with this type of server, but we were hungry and when our food came out fast, hot and ready I was over it.
I had a pink moscato wine because I like wine that's sweet. This jank was strong and had me talking a hundred miles a minute over dinner. I liked that a lot because I only needed one to get the job done.
Forget it, I'll give them a 4.9 because of the food, wine, & decor! I was pretty impressed and will definitely return. -

I took a party of 35 here for an event. Not only was the food amazing but the level of service was exceptional. They were very smart and broke my tables up in quads so as they finished one section, the put that food in and another service took the next order. They rotated until they finished and the food quickly started arriving. Every single person loved their meal! There was something for everyone. I personally had the arroz con pollo.. it was a healthy serving and I had enough for dinner later on!

Ambience, mojitos, service and portion size get the 4 stars. Food, not so much. The nachos were good even though the meat was a little salty for my taste. The shrimp and fish ceviche however was far from great. Specially for the price tag. I wanted to like it but it honestly did not have enough lime to be a good ceviche. I even asked my Cuban friend to try it to see if it was a matter of taste but she made the same comment regarding the lack of flavor and lime. I also think the cut of fish was too fatty for a ceviche. The nachos were good but could be improved as well. Again, service was amazing. The mojitos were delish and i can see myself returning just for a drink.
